SPILLE CHARGES TO TOP TEN AT FLORENCE ON JUNE 27!
JUNE 29, 2009 --- The Spille Racing Team (SRT) was back in dirt-slinging action on Saturday evening, June 27 at the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. David Spille encountered some problems in heat race action, but later won his B-Main to advance into the $2,000 to win main event. After starting twenty-first on the grid in the A-Main, David charged through the field, without incident this week, to earn a strong eighth place finish. DAVID SPILLE GETS AUDIE'D AT FLORENCE...
JUNE 22, 2009 --- Following several weekends away from the racetrack, David Spille returned to Dirt Late Model competition on Saturday night, June 20 at the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. David finished third in his heat race, which earned him the outside third row starting spot in the main event. The Harrison, Ohio native sported a great racecar during the $2,000 to win A-Main and was battling hard for the lead when he was unfortunately added to the long list of drivers taken out by Audie McWilliams. David was relegated to the tail end of the field following the incident and later finished in the sixteenth position. SPILLE VERY IMPRESSIVE DURING 'RALPH LATHAM MEMORIAL'
JUNE 1, 2009 --- David Spille and his #711 Dirt Late Model team joined the cars and stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at the historic Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday evening, May 30. The annual 'Ralph Latham Memorial' was on tap at the Cincinnati area facility and a $10,000 winner's check was on the line. David qualified well and later won his competitive heat race to earn the third starting spot in the 50-lap main event. During the course of the 'Ralph Latham Memorial,' David battled throughout the top ten before winding up an impressive sixth in the final rundown behind winner Jimmy Owens, Don O'Neal, Scott Bloomquist, Brad Neat, and Earl Pearson, Jr. You can view complete results from the star-studded event by accessing www.lucasdirt.com.

A regular weekly show was on tap at the Cincinnati area venue and a $1,500 top prize was up for grabs. David Spille ran third in his heat race before finishing a strong fifth in the main event.
