#10 TEAM CLOSES OUT JUNE AT LAWRENCEBURG & FLORENCE!
JUNE 30, 2008 ---
David Spille and the Traficant Racing team traveled to the newly-reconfigured Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky over the June 27-28 weekend for a pair of Dirt Late Model events. At Lawrenceburg on Friday night, David unfortunately could not find his way into the $10,000 to win UMP Summernationals main event after running eighth in his heat race, third in the C-Main, and thirteenth in the B-Main.

Things got much better for the #10 team on Saturday evening at Florence. David finished third in his heat race and had a very fast racecar during the $2,000 to win A-Main. The Harrison, Ohio driver wound up third in the final rundown of the 35-lap feature behind winner Audie McWilliams and runner-up Jesse Lay. David now sits sixth in the current version of the Florence Speedway point standings. You can view complete results from both races online at www.umpracing.com and www.florencespeedway.com.

DAVID SPILLE FOURTH AT FLORENCE; COMPETES AT ELDORA!
MAY 26, 2008 ---
David Spille and the Traficant Racing team earned their best finish of the 2008 racing season last Saturday night, May 24 at the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky! David finished fifth in his ultra-competitive heat race, but had a great run during the course of the $1,500 to win main event. The Harrison, Ohio native rocketed past eleven cars during the A-Main to notch an impressive fourth place effort behind winner Jesse Lay, Scott James, and Wayne Chinn.

The dirt-slinging action quickly turned to the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Sunday evening, May 25. The Sunoco American Late Model Series (ALMS) sanctioned the annual 'Johnny Appleseed Classic' on Sunday at the "Big E" and a $2,000 top prize was up for grabs. Unfortunately, David could not find his way into the feature event after finishing ninth in his heat race and eighth in his B-Main. You can view complete results from the Memorial Day doubleheader weekend online at www.florencespeedway.com and www.eldoraspeedway.com.
